Work Order Inquiry
The Work Order Inquiry page allows you to search for a specific work order in the New World ERP system.
Enter or select data in any or all of the following fields to narrow your search for a specific work order. If you want the search to return all work orders, leave all of the fields blank and click Search.

To search for a specific work order or several work orders, follow the steps below:
- Go to Financial Management > Work Orders > Work Order Inquiry.
- In Work Order Type, select the type of work order to include in the search.
- In Number, enter the work order number on which to search. Partial entry searches are allowed.
Note: The Keyword field performs a wildcard search on the following fields to maximize the data results that are returned: Work Order Description, Work Order Number, Work Order Problem Description, Work Order Resolution Description, Work Order Tasks(s) Problem Description, Work Order Task(s) Resolution Description, Work Order Notes, and Work Order Location.
- In Description Keyword, enter a description phrase or keyword(s) on which to search for a work order.
- In Location Type, select a work order location type to include in the search.
- In Asset, select an asset to include in the search. Click the advanced search icon
for additional options in locating an asset.
- In Department, select a department associated with a work order to include in the search.
- In Manager, select a manager identified on a work order to include in the search.
- In Priority, select the work order priority.
- In Workflow Status, select the work order status.
- In Process Status, select the process status of the work order.
- In Customer, select for a customer to include in the search. Click the advanced search icon
to search for a Miscellaneous Billing customer.
- In Project, select the project associated with a work order.
- In Date Type, select date type against which the From/To Date range applies.
- In From/To, select the beginning and end dates on which to search.
- Select the Duration check box to perform a search within a specified length of time in the Duration field.
- In Duration type the value for the duration of time on which to search and select the time variable in the drop-down list.
- Click Search. A list of work orders is displayed that meet the search criteria entered.
